Malaysian GP: The weekend's headlines
AUTOSPORT brings you a new Monday morning summary of the biggest headlines from throughout the Formula 1 weekend

  By Matt Beer

One story dominated the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend: the furore over Lewis Hamilton and McLaren's misleading of the race stewards in Australia. The controversy that saw the team under siege from the press, Hamilton lose his Melbourne podium, McLaren suspend its stalwart sporting director Dave Ryan, and questions lingering over what will happen to the beleaguered team next.

A thrilling, if truncated, race provided a brief distraction from the McLaren affair. Jenson Button took another win amid a deluge, but could the GP have resumed if its start time had not been put back this season?
