Mike Conway's season has not been short of action since joining Andretti Autosports for 2011. Having spent several months recovering from his frightening Indianapolis 500 crash, the Englishman has made the most of his chance to drive for a top team this season.
But while the speed has been there, so has misfortune, and while he qualified fourth for the season opener in St Petersburg, his race ended in contact. He was taken out at Barber two weeks later - an innocent victim in someone else's accident.
Then came a dream result in Long Beach last weekend, where all the pain and anguish of the last year paid off.
